Anna- The girl with unwanted dreams

She wanted to be a renowned dancer.When she danced,one would instantly be reminded of a peacock dancing during rainy season.She danced like a swan ;completely engrossed in the act. Anna happened to be a girl of strange ideals; atleast the people of the remote village of Malappuram thought so.The narrow- minded people couldn't understand the feelings of Anna for whom sky was the limit.
      It didn't last long.Unfortunately for Anna,dance was considered a taboo for girls in her backward village.Had she paid heed to the elders,the tragedy could have been averted.....
The village Panchayat asked her to stop dancing ; otherwise she'd have to face its repercussions........
    Anna's parents forced her.They feared being abandoned by the society.
But Anna was unstoppable.The dance,the music,the rhythm was her life...............................................................The parents succumbed to the pressure..............................
      ....The charred bodies of three persons found were unrecognizable.

Yes, I am a Girl!

Yes, I am a Girl! I don't like fine clothes to refine myself. They give me beautiful looks- And take away my freedom to move. Give me coarse cloth so let me fly. I don't like fine clothes- Yes, I am a girl! I don't like bangles to adorn my arms. They remind me of restrictions- Without any question, all girls should imply. Give me tools to build new wonders. I don't like bangles- Yes, I am a girl! I don't like jewellery to define myself. They illuminate me for what reason- But I have the right to claim I am not a thing on display. Give me education so my identity I can portray. I don't like jewellery- Yes, I am a girl!

Mighty Sergeant

Hold on! O'Mighty Sergeant, What you deserve is naught, The Death of a Coward, Nor should your tears become, Humorous affair among your subordinates.. The one who killed your son, Was naught your enemy personal, What drove him to the deed, Was the service towards his country. He too, Like you,Is a patriot; He too, Like you, Loves his children; He too, Like you, adores his wife; He too, Like any soldier, Fights to protect his motherland. Then, why should he be blamed; For the misdeed , That is considered an honour, In his own Country. When.. all that war gives To the petty soldier, Is the Barbarous bloodshed, Each one fighting in the battleground, Is bound to meet the same extremity. Have you naught been taught, To battle till the last breath , Have you naught been disciplined enough, To train your Heart to be as hard as a rock. Your duty is to fight, In harsh war rigors, Let the emotions naught dilute your ardour.
