Examination Fever

Nothing can deprive me of my precious beauty sleep. I try to ignore any unwanted stress that comes my way....But even the science students have  to mention the exceptional case.................

..........OMGOSH!!! It was weird.What the hell was Ria doing outside my room at midnight! That too with bent knees....??
      

     We had our solid state Physics exam the next day. Peeping from under the doors of the cubicles of her batchmates,she was checking out whether the lights were switched off or not; whether the girls were studying or not. It made me feel miserable.My sleepy eyes got wider and wider as I watched her going back to her room hurriedly.
   

                    The fear of the examination gripped me. Already through with my last revision, I was going to sleep. My conscience thrashed me,"Hey girl! How can you sleep while others are studying? Are you WELL PREPARED???"

          It was stupid of me to allow anxiety to overpower me. Alarm was cancelled and books were opened again. The night was spent in tossing between books and checking out the lights of others!!

   
      THE NEXT DAY , I WAS GIVING MY WORST EVER EXAMINATION...😨

Mosquito Horror

Mid of June. Exhausted from the long, cumbersome day's work, I was ready to embrace my beloved sleep. Everything seemed to be fine, until my AC suddenly came to a hault. This is the favourite time of electricity department to save electricity. Moving at the snail's speed, the fan offered no respite from heat. Tossing and turning on my heat-radiating bed, I was trying hard to sleep. - - - Buzz..........zzz. The temperature of the room was just apt for the insects to come out of their hiding places. Trying to ignore all the buzzing warnings, I shut my eyes to sleep. Ouch!  A pinch, or was that a bite ; I couldn't make out.  The war had begun. Mosquitoes had invited their relatives for the lavish dinner party. .. ..I checked the mosquito-repellent, covered my head with a white sheet and heaved a sigh of relief.    'twas my bad luck or their good luck, some of the mosquitoes, somehow, managed to enter my well-protected castle.
